From the open seas of the Alaskan coastline to the gnarliest spines he can find, Ryland Bell lives a life of hard work to two crafts, fishing and snowboarding. In Spring 2025, Ryland and crew head deep into the Alaskan mountains to find the line of his life. Along the way they dig for 3 weeks of storms waiting for an opening to strike. Nothing great comes easy, and this line was no different. Having dedicated the last 20 years to spine riding, Ryland shows why he is one of the best to ever do it.

Join us for a screening of this new Patagonia Film, and stick around afterwards for a Q&A with Patagonia's Snow ambassadors. We'll have light snacks and refreshments, and our friends from Central Oregon Avalanche Center will be in-store to talk about backcountry safety and how you can get involved.

Dirksen Derby at Mt Bachelor

The goal of the Dirksen Derby is to bring the Snowboard and Sit-Ski communities together for an incredibly fun and memorable weekend full of fast race times, strong friendships and fond memories while donating money to good causes.

The 100% hand-dug Parallel Banked Slalom courses challenge the racers with a slow but technical race that rewards consistency and penalizes even the smallest mistakes. Their world-class timing system (run by CJ Timing) combines riders times down the Red Course (more difficult) and the Green Course (more friendly) for a final combined time at the end of the weekend. Fastest combined time wins.
